Fertilizer returns and exchanges at DÜNGER

Eligibility for exchange and return

Goods of satisfactory quality

For consumer purchases, non-food goods of satisfactory quality can be exchanged within 14 days, excluding the purchase date, subject to Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine on Consumer Protection. The fertilizer must be unused, with its properties, appearance, seals and labels preserved. Keep the proof of purchase, including an electronic receipt. Statutory exceptions apply.

If an equivalent item is unavailable, you may choose another product with a price adjustment, wait for restocking, or terminate the contract and receive a refund for the returned goods.

Withdrawing from an online order

Distance contracts have separate rules under Article 13: consumers notify the seller of withdrawal within 14 days of confirmation of the legally required information or receipt of the goods. The law provides different periods where information was not supplied correctly, and exceptions for certain contracts.

Keep the product unchanged. Opening packaging for inspection or examination does not by itself remove the right to withdraw from a distance contract. Do not use fertilizer that you intend to return.

Defects, damage or an incorrect order

If you receive the wrong product, find damage or have a quality concern, contact us and explain the issue. Photos of the packaging, labels, batch number and damage help us review the claim. Where possible, document shipping damage with the carrier when receiving the parcel.

Defect claims are assessed under Article 8, according to the nature of the defect and applicable time limits. Depending on the grounds, remedies may include a price reduction, correction of defects, replacement or refund. The 14-day exchange period for satisfactory goods is not a general deadline for quality claims.

How to arrange a fertilizer return

1. Provide the order number and date, fertilizer name, pack size, quantity and requested outcome: exchange, return or assessment of a claim. Include proof of purchase.
2. Clarify the shipping method and who pays the carrier with our team. This helps you prepare the parcel correctly and does not limit your statutory rights.
3. Pack the goods securely for transport and keep the labels intact. Once dispatched, send us the tracking number and keep documents showing the shipping costs.

Who pays for return shipping

If we send an incorrect or defective product through our fault, DÜNGER covers shipping both ways. For a lawful withdrawal from a distance contract, the seller bears the return costs under Articles 12 and 13. In other cases, payment arrangements depend on the grounds for the request and the law. Clarify the payer on the waybill before dispatch; there is no blanket requirement that customers always pay for returns.

Refund and replacement timing

We process requests within 5 business days after receiving the goods. This internal processing period does not restart or extend statutory time limits. In particular, refunds following termination under Article 9 are due on the termination date or, if this is not possible, on an agreed date within 7 days. The applicable statutory period governs other grounds for a refund. We agree the refund method to a card or bank account with the customer.

We arrange dispatch of an agreed replacement within 1-3 business days if it is in stock, unless the law requires faster action. If a quality assessment is needed or the item is unavailable, we will explain the procedure and applicable timing.

For purchases made as part of business activities, acceptance, claims and returns are governed by the contract and applicable law. This page does not restrict mandatory consumer rights.
